I was born in Russia by the Pacific Coast and grew up in the city of Vladivostok. I arrived in Toronto in 1991 and held my first art showing at the (O'Keeffe Centre) today called the Sony Center for the Performing Arts in 1993.
Growing up in a spiritual environment and inspired by knowledge, friends, family I have learned that in life, it is a gift to be able to express oneself to others without consequences. Which was one of the reasons, how my journey as an artist began. Discovering your true self, finding an ability to dive within, connecting with imagination ~ allows one-self to go beyond the boundaries of our everyday existence, perceptions and beliefs. Art, music, nature and Universe have always been a big part of my life, giving me a different sense of rhythm, which is matching with the rhythm of my heart. |
