Creation legends are a global phenomenon.
Records of the belief systems of ancient astronauts coming to Earth can be found on Rock Art -- Ancient Sumerian clay tablets and cylinder seals, and in the Bible.
The Bible speaks of the Hebrew word Elohim, meaning God or those who came from the sky.
Elohim or Eloah is a Hebrew word related to deity, but whose exact significance is often disputed.
It is the third word in the Hebrew text of Genesis and occurs frequently throughout the Hebrew Bible.
In some cases (e.g. Ex. 3:4 ... Elohim called unto him out of the midst of the bush...), is generally understood to denote the God of Israel but from a neutral point of view there is no evidence proving that this originally meant one rather than several acting in accord. In other cases (e.g. Ex. 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.), it refers to the polytheistic notion of multiple gods.
In still other cases, the meaning is not clear from the tex but may refer to powerful beings (e.g. Gen. 6:2 the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them for wives..., Ex. 4:16 and you [Moses] will be as Elohim to him [Aaron], Ex. 22:28 Thou shalt not curse Elohim, or curse a ruler of your people, where the parallelism suggests that Elohim may refer to human rulers).
Genesis Chapter 1:26, states And God said, let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.
This quote still uses the plural us rather than the singular I, suggesting that God was not a single entity, as many of us have been brought up and conditioned to believe. The Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh is filled with mentions of fiery chariots and people being taken up to the garden of God.
The Epic also contains a whole host of parallels to our very own old Testament.
For instance, it mentions a great flood, and relates a story very close to that of Moses being cast downstream as a child.
The Sumerians also had an Eden, known as Dilmun, which is described in the Epic o Enki and Ninhursag, the creation stories of both texts bear a striking resemblance.

Centuries' Old UFO Coin Remains Mystery
An unidentified flying object on a 17th century French coin continues to mystify rare coin experts.
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) January 28, 2005 -- After decades of seeking possible answers about a mysterious UFO-like design on a 17th century French copper coin, a prominent numismatic expert says it remains just that: an unidentified flying object. After a half-century of research, the design has defied positive identification by the numismatic community.
"It was made in the 1680s in France and the design on one side certainly looks like it could be a flying saucer in the clouds over the countryside," said Kenneth E. Bressett of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a former President of the 32,000-member American Numismatic Association and owner of the curious coin.
"Is it supposed to be a UFO of some sort, or a symbolic representation of the Biblical Ezekiel's wheel? After 50 years of searching, I've heard of only one other example of it, and nothing to explain the unusual design."
Bressett said the mysterious piece is not really a coin, but a "jeton," a coin-like educational tool that was commonly used to help people count money, or sometimes used as a money substitute for playing games. It is about the size of a U.S. quarter-dollar and similar to thousands of other jetons with different religious and educational designs that were produced and used in Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries.
"The design on this particular piece could be interpreted as showing either a UFO or Ezekiel's wheel, but little else. Some people think the Old Testament reference to Ezekiel's wheel may actually be a description of a long-ago UFO," he explained.
"The legend written in Latin around the rim is also mystifying. 'OPPORTUNUS ADEST' translates as 'It is here at an opportune time.' Is the object in the sky symbolic of needed rainfall, or a Biblical reference or visitors from beyond? We probably will never know for certain," said Bressett.
"It is part of the lure of numismatics that makes coin collecting so intriguing."

The Dropa Stones
The story of the Dropa for us begins in the same place, but the year is 1938. The mountains are the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains on the border that divides China and Tibet. An archaeological expedition, led by Chi Pu Tei, has trudged into the barely accessible mountain range, and has happened upon some caves that had obviously been occupied by a primitive people long ago.On the walls were carved pictograms of the heavens: the sun, the moon, the stars, and the Earth with lines of dots connecting them. Then the team made the most incredible discovery of all. Half-buried in the dirt floor of the cave was an odd stone disk, obviously fashioned by the hand of an intelligent creature. The disk was approximately nine inches in diameter and three-quarters of an inch thick. In the exact center was a perfectly round, 3/4" hole, and etched in its face was a fine groove spiraling out from the center to the rim, making the disk look for all the world like some kind of primitive phonograph record.This one plate, dated to be between 10,000 and 12,000 years old , but the wonder was multiplied manifold. In all, 716 such plates were found. And each held an incredible secret. The groove, upon further inspection, was not a groove at all, but a continuous line of strange carved hieroglyphics - writing!

The picture on the left comes from Ancient Egyptian paintings on walls in temples in Egypt. Notice the black arrow pointing at a bizarre looking (Egyptian) with big almond shaped eyes and a strange body. What is this creature doing in this ancient Egyptian temple. This is not a doctored photo, you can look up this picture in Egyptian books. This is clearly not a human, yet he is right there in front of us. Do you deny what is right in front of you just to satisfy your vision of what is normal?
